M2012-02 M/S PHOENIX J (ATG), grounding off Rauma on 18 April 2012

The Safety Investigation Authority of Finland has decided after a preliminary examination to initiate a safety investigation into the grounding off Rauma of the Antigua and Barbuda flagged M/S PHOENIX J on 18 April, 2012.

The SIA investigator Olavi Huuska was appointed as a team leader of the investigation team and investigator Rainer Dahlblom as a member of the investigation team. Chief Marine safety investigator Martti Heikkilä will act as investigator-in-charge for the case.
